Frequently Asked Questions
Can I sell the smart devices I build using your schematics?
No. Our license is strictly non-commercial (NC). You are free to build an unlimited number of devices for your own personal use, but you are not permitted to sell them.
Can I share the digital files I purchased with a friend?
No. The license prohibits the redistribution of our original digital files. Your friend would need to purchase their own copy from our website. You are, however, encouraged to share photos and videos of your completed physical projects!
I modified one of your PCB designs to fit a different component. Can I post my modified version online?
No. Our license has a No-Derivatives (ND) clause, which means while you can modify the files for your personal projects, you are not permitted to share or distribute those modified design files.
What happens if I build a device using your schematic and it damages my property?
All our digital products are provided "as-is" without any warranty. By using our files, you acknowledge the inherent risks of working with electronics and assume all responsibility for your projects. Clevr House is not liable for any damages that may occur.
I'm a professional installer. Can I use your designs to build a system for a client?
Not under the standard license. Using our designs for client work is considered a commercial purpose. If you are interested in a commercial license, please contact us directly to discuss the options.
