The Air Guardian takes modular air quality monitoring to the next level. Powered by the ESP32-C3 Super Mini PRO, this baseboard lets you build the exact environmental sensor you need. We've streamlined the design to support a crisp 0.96" I2C display, making your custom build more compact and power-efficient than ever.

Want to measure Carbon Monoxide and Particulate Matter at the same time? With the addition of a second UART port, you now can. We’ve even upgraded the second serial port to a 5-pin layout, giving you total power control over popular sensors like the PMS5003. Combined with a flexible array of 3.3V and 5V I2C ports, the Air Guardian allows for effortless plug-and-play integration with the industry's best sensors from Sensirion, Winsen, and more. It’s your air, monitored your way.

Air Guardian 0.96" Base Board (Dual-UART Edition)

  • Microcontroller: ESP32-C3 Super Mini PRO (Wi-Fi ready for smart home integration).

  • Display Output: Dedicated I2C interface optimized for a 0.96" display (e.g., SSD1306 OLED).

  • Expansion Ports (The Modularity Hub):

    • 4x I2C connectors (3.3V) — Includes the dedicated display port.

    • 1x I2C connector (5V)

    • 1x Standard UART connector (4-pin)

    • 1x Advanced UART connector (5-pin) — Includes extra control pin for sleep/wake management on sensors like the PMS5003.

Choose Your Measurements (Supported Sensor Ecosystem): Run multiple I2C and up to two UART sensors simultaneously from this supported list:

  • Carbon Dioxide (CO2): SCD40 (I2C)

  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs): SGP41 (I2C)

  • Carbon Monoxide (CO): YYS sensor (UART)

  • Formaldehyde (CH2O): Winsen sensor (UART)

  • Particulate Matter (PM): SPS30 (I2C) or PMS5003 (5-pin UART for full control)

  • Climate (Temp/Humidity): AHT20, SHT30, or SHT40 (I2C)

  • Atmospheric Pressure: BMP280 (I2C)

  • All-in-One Environmental Modules: Sensirion SEN5x or SEN6x series (I2C)
